Change Category Tree Root
The categories feature is an optional search widget. It can reflect the existing internal folder hierarchy based on Hot folders. The default root is the same for all users who have visual access to the tool. To change the root node of the category tree you will need to edit the xml file using the file manager.
- Open the file manager and go to your application folder. For example: /emshare/_site.xconf

- 2012 is the Category ID we picked. Your Category ID can be found by going to settings | Categories and hover over the category. The ID will be in parenthesis
- You will can just log out and log back in to see this change
