Deleting Assets in Bulk

Delete associated table records and generated folder 1. Use the Data Manager to delete the assets records
  • Go to: Settings > Data Manager.
  • Select the "asset" table from the drop-down.
  • Click "Delete Records" and confirm.
2. Use the File Manager to delete the /WEB-INF/data/media/catalogs/public/generated folder
  • Make sure you are logged in as an Administrator.
  • Hover over the small grey square in the top-right corner of the display. Select the "File Manager" option.
  • Navigate through the tree to bring up the /WEB-INF/data/media/catalogs/public/generated folder.
  • Click the "Edit" drop-down and select the "Delete Folder" option.
3. Delete all records from the Order, OrderItems, ConversionTask and PublishQueue tables
  • Go to: Settings > Data Manager.
  • Select each of the following tables, and click "Delete Records" for each of them: order, orderitems, conversiontask, publishqueue.
4. Delete any uploaded files from /WEB-INF/media/catalogs/public/originals/* Warning: If you have Hot Folder mounted this action will delete the files directly in the source: your original files in mounted source will be deleted.
  • Make sure you are logged in as an Administrator.
  • Hover over the small grey square in the top-right corner of the display.
  • Select the "File Manager" option.
  • Navigate through the tree to bring up the /WEB-INF/media/catalogs/public/originals/ folder.
  • Delete each file in the folder.
Note: Any folders deleted might go into the WEB-INF/trash folder.
